The Fallout Fringe Festival is a performance art festival in las vegas, nv that caters to challenging and “bleeding edge” work. It was launched as a collaborative effort to showcase the absurd, the questionable, and the daring who color outside of the lines and challenge the dominant paradigm of “traditional theatre.”
Program highlights include:
- Doing Time with Lavinia (The Musical): Told from a jail cell, it's the raucously boozy tale of Lavinia Draper, fallen socialite and one-time stand-by for Broadway star Betty Buckley, who is eternally chasing her pipe dream of becoming an entertainer.
- Mother Tongue: A bereaved daughter bogged down with bills and debt is visited by her dead mother in her dreams—but the catch is that this mother will only speak in Thai, a language the daughter barely understands.
- Legoland: Penny and Ezra Lamb are home-schooled by their parents on a hippie colony near Uranium City until the police discover it also happens to be the largest marijuana grow-op in Saskatchewan. “Legoland” is how their pot-smoking elders always described the outside world, and the Lamb siblings are dying to get there.
- Sockspeare: Poor Richard’s Puppets brings you an 80-minute, fast-paced, and surprisingly sincere adaptation of Hamlet, performed entirely by puppets. While the cast may be made of cloth and stuffing, the drama, treachery, and existential dread remain as sharp as ever.

There are over 30 shows to choose from in Downtown Las Vegas throughout the month of June. A festival pass is available for purchase, allowing guests to simply show up 15 minutes prior to the start time of any performance.
